Designed and built on a hand-shaped, downturned last by Fred Nicole, TORQUE features a durable and comfortable, unlined vegan microsuede upper with an elastic integrated tongue and pull tab. The shape of the toe is ideal for precise footwork. The rubber is thick enough to feel stable but thin enough to maintain sensitivity. The mountain goat shaped midsole is composed of a proprietary molded board at the outer edges and runs through the center of the toe box creating stiffness. This shape allows for flexion in the midfoot while also releasing pressure. The unique single strap velcro closure gives you the freedom to change the direction of tension from ankle to mid-foot area to the base of the forefoot. The outsole is split and features Vibram XS Grip 1 rubber for durability while including generous toe/heel rubber coverage. The heel rubber extends to the top of the shoe. The unique width of the heel rubber enables this area to have the perfect balance of rigidity for maintaining solid heel hooks while allowing sensitivity and just enough flex. TORQUE is perfect for all your outdoor bouldering needs as well as indoor bouldering - specifically large volume climbing.
